One of the sweetest days. I have known Kevin ever since college! When he reached out about getting eloped to the sweetheart Erica, I was thrilled! I had the most fun documenting this special day for these two. It’s such a privilege to be invited into these moments to capture the day as it unfolds!
The day was cloudy and it rained on and off, but that wasn’t going to stop us from having a great day! (I will just about shoot through any weather. haha) We started off the day with Kevin and Erica getting ready in their home—full of laughter, excitement, and of course—a mini dance party! We moved towards the courthouse in downtown Charleston, West Virginia where we hilariously waited about an hour for the judge to come officiate the ceremony. haha Shortly after the ceremony we ran around Charleston—where we adventured down towards the boat docks on the Kanawha river and then made a trip towards Capitol Street. We decided that they needed a treat to celebrate, so we went into the Rock City Cake Company! (My stomach is growling just thinking about it. YUM!)
