I have thirteen years of experience.
Do you have a degree?
I do! I have a Bachelors in Visual Art Communications with my emphasis being photography! West Virginia State University—WVSU Yellow Jackets, baby!
When did you get into photography?
When I was just five years old! My grandad got me my first camera! I’ve been shooting film ever since!
So, I guess that means you’ve been taking pictures pretty much your entire life!

How do you flow throughout weddings, elopements, and portrait sessions? I can feel so much emotion in your work while also enjoying the aesthetic of the image!
I feel literally everything. I pick up on whatever energy is at hand while also dissecting the space around me.
How do you approach different lighting situations? What if it’s low light? Flashes?
I love this question, because I lowkey call myself a lightbender. haha I don’t fear any lighting situation—as you can see with the pictures through the website, I deal with all types! I love seeing what I can create with what the atmosphere has given me. Some situations are moodier; some are brighter. I also use flashes for both digital and film too. Mainly just depends on the situation, the moment, and the vibe! Regardless, your gallery will be sick and show artistic flow.
I saw that you help with the styling and locations for portrait sessions.
Ahh, yes! This is an important element to my sessions! This is only a small portion of the ingredients to create a fantastic gallery! More info on this will be explained during booking.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes! For every single project—weddings, elopements, portraits, etc.. Just send me an inquiry!
What are your turnarounds?
Weddings & Elopements are 8-10 weeks. (Sometimes as little as 4 weeks.) Portrait sessions are 4-6 weeks. (Sometimes as little as 2 weeks.) However, I try very very hard to get your photos back to you way sooner! It mostly depends on my busy seasons and how long it takes to get the film scans back from the labs I use as well. Film is delivered in digital format. I’m very particular about every single image. I promise you that I’m not trying to hold the photos hostage. haha I just put a lot of love and care into the imagery! I want everything to be PERFECT.
So, the film photos are delivered in digital format?
Yes! All the film is professionally scanned and delivered in digital format along with the digital photos in your gallery. The file sizes are huge which means you can print the film photos as big as the digitally shot photos if you wanted!—plus, makes it super easy to share on social media and all that jazz!
Do you charge travel fees?
It depends on the project. Depends on the distance and if it requires multiple days as well.
How soon should we book you for our wedding?
Now! :) Once you have your date and location set in stone, send me that inquiry! Dates are only booked once a contract is signed and the non-refundable retainer is paid.
